The 2024 GCOE event was held at a luxury resort in Mexico, with a premier spa experience as the backdrop. Focusing on the natural elements of the resort, I explored a few concepts before landing on the final direction. 

Exploratory concepts show four distinct visual directions

The team fell in love with the talavera direction. The powerful blue glaze was timeless and clean, offering a charming compliment to the resort's natural stone accents. The balance of colours placed the emphasis on the brand's flagship Equifax Red.

The tile concept supported various creative applications.

I focused on texture and pattern. The profile book was adorned with subtle areas of shiny overlays to harken back to the ceramic tiles.

 

The presentation title and intermission screens featured an opulent river of golden glitter.
